The work isn't the problem. You're good at it, and it would be easy to keep going - take the next title, the next scope, follow the trajectory that's already been laid out for you. But somewhere along the way the question changed from how do I get ahead to what is this next decade actually for.
There are a couple of options swirling at the back of your mind. Maybe it's building a business idea you've held for years, or going all in on a creative pursuit you keep alive on the side because your day job doesn't feed that part of you. Maybe you're burnt out from work that's stopped feeling like it matters, weighing whether this is the year you go.
Whichever it is, you're mostly thinking it through on your own, wondering if you're the only one, because the people around you are either settled, or too busy to admit they're still figuring it out too.
